Kyiv, as a host city, prepared design of an information booklet for guests of the coming Euro-2012. It will be the 36-page publication with information and photos about the most interesting and most beautiful places in Kiev. Also it will contains info about cultural and sporting life of the capital city of Ukraine. In other words - this should be Euro-2012 Kyiv guest guide with all necessary info, in which foreighn visitors could be interested in.
The booklet will be in four languages: Ukrainian, English, Russian and German. This brochure is planned to be used as a visiting card of the city at different international exhibitions and promotional events. In March the booklet about the Ukrainian capital will be presented at the international tourism exhibition ITB in Berlin where Kyiv city will be presented at a special stand as a Euro-2012 host city.
There are plans to organize the children's sector on NSK Olympiyskiy till EURO 2012.
Special "Youth programme" is in development now in Ukraine. As a reference Philips Arena in Netherland is taken.There are two segments on the reference stadium: one for children below 12 years and their parents and one for children above 12.

Indicators of the national budget for 2012 were calculated, taking into account the UAH 8/$1 exchange rate, Ukrainian Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko has said.
"The UAH 8/$1 exchange rate is stable. I promised you in the parliament, as there were many questions on the exchange rate for 2012. We have the balanced credit and finance policies conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine and the government," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday, 28-th of December.
As reported, the national budget for 2011 was calculated with the UAH 7.95/$1 exchange rate.

Children in Ukraine do believe in St. Nicolas and in small wonder of placing small gifts, toys, or books into symbolic shoes or stockings or even under their pillows. Kiev Planetarium (Ukrainian: Київський планетарій) is one of the largest planetaria in the CIS (former Soviet states) and in the Europe. The planetarium has a dome of 23 meters in diameter, and seats for 320 people. It was opened on January 1, 1952 by the initiative of the scientist-astronomer Serhiy Vsekhsviatskiy (1905–1984) and on January 1, 2012 it will be 60 years from the date of it's opening.
