Basket 3: Croatia (33 003, 7), Greece (32 455, 8), Portugal (31 717, 9), Sweden (31 675, 10).

Basket 4: Denmark (31 205, 11), France (30 508, 12), Czech Republic (29 602, 13), Ireland (28 576, 14).

One team from each basket will fall into each of four groups - A, B, C and D. Under the rules of UEFA, Poland and Ukraine, as the tournament hosts, and Spain, as the current European champion, will automatically hit the first basket. In addition, the pre-sent to Poland in Group A at position A1 (positions are needed to determine the schedule of matches), and Ukraine - in group D at position D1.

The procedure for the draw starts with the first basket. The draw will allocate Spain and Holland in groups B and C, in which they respectively occupy positions of B1 and C1.

Next draw will be national teams from the fourth basket. The first team gets selected in the group A, then the lottery will be determined by its position in the quartet (A2, A3 or A4).

The second team gets selected in Group B (at position B2, B3 or B4), the third - in group C (at position C2, C3 or C4), the fourth - a group D (the position of D2, D3 or D4). Following the same way will first draw the national teams of the third basket, and then from the second.

European Championship will be held from June 8 to July 1, 2012 in eight cities - four Polish (Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan) and four Ukrainian (Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Lviv).
