National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has decided to send cash hryvnia to the European countries on the eve of the finals of Euro 2012.
This was announced by National Bank head Sergei Arbuzov during a meeting with the head of the Swiss National Bank Philipp Hildebrand.
"To remove the barriers between our countries and for the convenience of tourists who are planning to visit Ukraine during the European Football Championship in 2012, we are sending to Europe hryvnia. That is, residents of European countries can purchase the Ukrainian currency before traveling to Ukraine", - Arbuzov quoted the press service of the NBU.
It is also the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on December 1, introduced into circulation commemorative silver coins dedicated to the final tournament of European Football Championship 2012 in Kiev, Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkov, as well as the whole of Euro 2012, according to the website of the Parliament .
Recall that 2 December was drawing the final stage of Euro 2012, and all participants in the tournament found rivals in the group stage of the European Championship.
