The monetary unit of Ukraine - grivna (UAH). The hryvnia (Ukrainian Hryvnia) - Ukraine's currency. In the past - the monetary unit of Kievan Rus. Hryvnia is divided into 100 cents. Exchange foreign currency in the hryvnia is possible in banks and in many exchange offices. The most common foreign currency in Ukraine is the U.S. dollar and the euro. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept credit cards.
September 2, 1996 the National Bank of Ukraine in accordance with the Decree of President of Ukraine put into circulation banknotes in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 hryvnia. [10] August 22, 2001 in turn introduced bill denomination of 200 hryvnia. September 15, 2006 in turn introduced a bill of 500 hryvnia.
Currently in circulation are still small coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 cents and current - 1 hryvnia.

World Heavyweight and "The Ring” Champion Wladimir Klitschko will come back to
Düsseldorf (Germany) for his next title defense. The undisputed Superchampion
of the heavyweight division will be challenged by French Jean-Marc Mormeck at
the ESPRIT Arena on December 10. The stadium is the homefield of the German
soccer club Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Mormeck is the current WBA International Heavyweight Champion with a
professional record of 36 wins (22 KOs) with 4 losses. Two of his losses were
early in his career when he lost as an inexperienced fighter in 4th and 5th
